IEEE-USA is seeking applications from IEEE U.S. members interested in spending a year as an IEEE-USA Executive Fellow in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) beginning in January 2002 through December 2002. The Fellow will be assigned to a specific division within the FCC's Office of Engineering and Technology depending on the Fellows expertise, and would report through the Division Chief to the FCC's Chief Technologist. FCC is specifically seeking Fellows with expertise in any of the following areas: antennas & propagation, Internet technology, satellite systems and/or software radios.
